The A40 from Witney is a road most people in West Oxfordshire know well, and for once the destination is not the city centre. Our Oxford office is at Oxford Science Park in Littlemore, on the far side of the city from Witney, but the ring road takes you round rather than through: A40 to the A34, A34 south to Hinksey Hill, then the southern bypass to Heyford Hill. Twelve miles, around half an hour outside the peak.
Being tested in a business park on the other side of Oxford suits a lot of people. Nobody from Witney, Carterton or the villages has any reason to be in that building, nothing about the visit gives away its purpose, and your result goes only to the person named on the consent form.
By car: A40 east to the A34 at Wolvercote, then A34 south round the western bypass to Hinksey Hill and the southern bypass east to the Heyford Hill roundabout, around 30 minutes outside peak times. Oxford Science Park is off the A4074 just beyond, with parking onsite.
By train: Witney has no station. Hanborough, a short drive north, has direct trains to Oxford, and from Oxford station a taxi to the science park takes about 15 minutes.
Recommended office: John Eccles House, Oxford Science Park, reached round the ring road rather than through the city. Exact directions are sent with your booking confirmation.
No, and it should not. From the A40 you join the A34 at Wolvercote and stay on the bypass all the way round to Heyford Hill, then turn onto the A4074 for the science park. That keeps you clear of the city's traffic and its parking restrictions, and there is parking onsite at Oxford Science Park when you arrive.
Office appointments run Monday to Friday. If you require an evening or weekend test, our home visit service brings the same examiners and the same instruments to your own address in Witney or anywhere in West Oxfordshire, seven days a week with the last examination starting at 8pm. It is booked online through Home Polygraph Services.
The nearest office to Witney is ours at Oxford Science Park, half an hour along the A40 and the ring road with parking onsite. The test takes place in a private, solid-walled meeting room at the Regus business centre, booked for your appointment alone, and the examiner is trained to police standards in interviewing and works to American Polygraph Association standards.
